About the Role

The Analytics and Strategy Senior Consultant position is responsible for managing the hands-on analytics and strategic insights for large-scale programs. You will own day-to-day client relationships as well as the delivery of critical projects. In addition to client delivery efforts, you will be expected to continue to learn new analytics techniques and methodologies that continue to advance our practice areas.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
• Frame and breakdown business requests into components that provide structure for statistical / econometric / data science approaches and translate your analysis into actionable recommendations for implementation.
• Develop business cases for strategic projects to include sizing the market opportunity and ROI analysis, outline a product development strategy and operational requirements, outline competitive risks in getting the product to market, and show initiative alignment with overall enterprise strategic goals.
• Conduct primary and secondary research to help our clients keep an employee/consumer-centric perspective as they work through strategic initiatives.
• Provide exceptional client delivery through critical thinking, problem-solving, and risk mitigation.
• Work effectively across disciplines and organizational boundaries to prioritize tasks and gain timely closure on decisions.
• Facilitate multi-stakeholder / cross-functional meetings where you will present advanced analytics methodology and results to non-technical audiences that drive understanding and innovation.
• Comfortably engage the client in tough decisions that serve the clients’ best interests.
• Multi-task competing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to self-motivate with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of business experience (3+ years in a highly analytical business role).


  • Broad knowledge of statistical models and their real-world applications (e.g. model specification, regression analysis, classification modeling, PCA, factor analysis, conjoint analysis, etc.).


  • Experience handling ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering high-quality work in an energetic environment.


  • Ability to capture and track goals, tasks, and activities and execute according to that schedule.


  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, such as focus groups, online communities, discrete choice surveys, market segmentation studies, customer journeys, etc.


  • Successful application of a variety of management tools and methods.


  • Proficient in R, SPSS, Stata, or other statistical languages.


  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
